Mogul, a privately-owned company that focuses on the production of and sale of nonwovens, is establishing its first North American operations – Mogul South Carolina Nonwovens Corporation. The company is investing $17.6 million in its new operations, creating 38 new jobs from beginning of operation.
Established in 1997, Mogul is headquartered in Gaziantep, Turkey. As a global leader in the nonwovens industry, the company boasts a diverse product portfolio, including spunlace, PP spunbond nonwovens, PET spunbond nonwovens, BICO PET spunbond nonwovens and meltblown nonwovens, as well as coated and laminated fabrics and converted products made from nonwovens and composites.
To establish its Laurens County operations, Mogul is purchasing an existing 91,000-square-foot building, located at 100 ISO Poly Parkway in Gray Court, S.C.
