BNNano launches research in Abbeville Incubator & Soft-Landing Facility

North Carolina engineered materials company is facility’s fourth user
BNNano, a Burlington, North Carolina-based engineered materials company, is launching research & development activities at the Abbeville Incubator & Soft-Landing Facility.
BNNano is an advanced manufacturing company that transforms and revitalizes industrial commodities, such as aluminum, at nano scale in order to optimize performance. Their products can be found in metals and composites in the defense, additive manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, life sciences and textile industries. BNNano is the world’s leader in the production of Boron Nitride Nanotubes, and they pioneered the patent pending NanoBarb™ material enhancement.
Launched in 2016 by founders Jason Taylor and Steve Wilcenski, the company is a start-up business based on support from family, friends and Angel Investors.
BNNano makes the fourth business to benefit from Abbeville’s incubator, which was established in 2014 with funds from the United States Economic Development Administration.
